European Deaf Orienteering Championship 2026
13 – 17 October 2026, Serres, Greece
In October 2026, the picturesque region of Serres in Greece will host the 11th European Deaf
Orienteering Championships (EDOC 2026). The event will be held simultaneously with the
World Deaf Orienteering Cup #3, promising high-level international competition.
Competition Program:
14 October: Middle Distance (Nerotopos)
15 October: Long Distance (Ai Giorgis Valley)
17 October: Relay (Lailias Ski Center)
Athletes will compete in varied and challenging terrains – from pine forests and open areas
near Serres to beautiful beech forests at higher altitudes around Lailias Ski Center.
In addition to the main competitions, the organizers offer a training opportunity on 13
October, a touristic excursion on the rest day, and the EDOC Tour – open orienteering events
on the same terrains after each competition day.
The championships are organized by the Hellenic Sports Federation for the Deaf and the
orienteering club O-Siris, in cooperation with the European Deaf Sports Organisation
(EDSO).
