16th European Deaf Shooting Championship: Official Announcement
Dates: September 18th – 28th, 2026
Location: Novi Sad, Serbia
Venue: 10m Range, Sports Center “Sajmište”
Host Organizations: European Deaf Sports Organisation (EDSO) & Sports Association of the Deaf of Serbia
On behalf of EDSO, the Sports Association of the Deaf of Serbia and the Shooting Federation of Novi Sad warmly invite national delegations to participate in the 16th European Deaf Shooting Championship.
Due to the event being assigned to Serbia at short notice, this edition will feature exclusively 10m disciplines. The championship will bring together Europe’s top deaf athletes to compete in precision and focus across the following events:
- 10m Air Rifle: Men (Individual & Team), Women (Individual & Team), and Mixed Team.
- 10m Air Pistol: Men (Individual & Team), Women (Individual & Team), and Mixed Team.
Host city Novi Sad—a proud former European Capital of Culture situated on the Danube River—offers excellent infrastructure, historical charm, and vibrant hospitality. The local municipality will ensure a seamless experience by providing free local shuttle transport between the official hotel and the shooting range.
Key Logistics & Deadlines:
- Official Accommodation: Hotel “Novi Sad” (located 1.8 km from the range).
- Airport Transport: Organized bus transfers will be provided to and from Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG), located 80 km away.
- Weapons Import: Air weapons must be registered at the border upon entry (a fee of €30 applies per list of up to 5 guns). Teams are highly encouraged to submit forms in advance.
- Application Deadline: June 30th, 2026
- Payment Deadline: July 15th, 2026
